I love visual metaphors and poems – I used to create this kind of poetry with students and haven’t attempted it for a long time. My poetry is more stream of consciousness now, with the odd sonnet, villanette or haiku. I see you live in Drogheda – that’s where my ex parents-in-law used to live and I think the ex father and brother-in-law are still there. I spent a couple of years in Navan and Kells, where I wrote lots of poetry. I will most definitely be following your blog .
